You may not be aware but counseling license laws vary from state to state. I am eligible to deliver online counseling to you and your partner as long as you are both physically located in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Kentucky, and/or Indiana.
There is no definitive answer to this question. Though it’s safe to say that more than three sessions are necessary to make any headway on what brings you in. Some couples find 10-12 sessions are sufficient, while others choose to continue long-term (over 20 sessions).
I recommend beginning with weekly, 90-minute sessions. When progress becomes significant we can scale back to meeting less frequently. Eventually, a 45-minute couples checkup appointment will be beneficial before discontinuing couples therapy.
Each 90-minute couples counseling session is $175. Payment is due at the end of each session. Major credit cards, debit cards, HSA, or FSA cards are accepted.
